We are incredibly proud of our Yorkshire roots – so when a call came through a few months ago from Young Enterprise, we jumped at the chance to help local school Skipton Girls’ High School (SGHS) negotiate the treacherous path into business. With Mags and Hazel both attending the school in years gone by, the pairing seemed to fit perfectly with our identity and skills set.
If you don’t already know, Young Enterprise is a National education charity that was founded in 1963 to forge links between schools and industry. SGHS has taken part in the competition for a number of years producing a number of products to sell in the local area.
This year, the girls are selling two specially designed bags, one inspired by the Yorkshire landscape, the other following the trend of Aztec patterns. You can see the designs above.
The girls will be attending a number of local events over the next few months, selling their wares and even some shares – so keep an eye out when out and about in Yorkshire.
