Wallpaper and Chandeliers

We move in two weeks to our glorious new offices in rural Yorkshire and arguments are raging over wallpaper and chandeliers.

The simple fact is I adore chandeliers and my lovely friends at the local lighting shop have very kindly done an amazing deal on a superb example of same for our new offices. “Is it too much?” the guys asked, “Definitely not!” I replied. “It’s an office!” they protest. “And your point is?” I respond. I like beautiful things around me and it’s beautiful – it’s not ostentatious because it was a steal and it will make me smile every time I look at it.

The flowery wallpaper I may have to concede – although the architect was with me on it.
