The Challenge:

Simon Gueller is a long-established Michelin-starred chef. Along with his wife Rena, they decided to sell their restaurant business and start something new.

Following a fabl Power Hour we agreed a plan to kickstart his new venture as a personal chef. This included brand positioning, visual identity and key messaging.

We set up a mini messaging workshop at the fabl and got down to business.

We listened. We asked what he is and what he is not. What sets him apart from the competition and where he wants to be.

Messaging Workshop

Our workshops can be intense. We ask searching questions. People often find it hard to talk about themselves – but that’s part of our process to find their story – and make it stick.

The Results:

During our workshops, we share ideas. Normally, we’d go away and think about the brief and come back with a proposal, but we enjoy the challenge of bouncing ideas off clients there and then. We always strive to be original and come at the problem from a different angle.

But our ideas are always rooted in sound business sense. The line, ‘Simon Gueller.This Time It’s Personal’ was a good start.

We went away, fleshed out the idea, wrote new copy and developed a whole new visual identity – all within a simple two page website.
