The fabl wanted to communicate our unique content marketing approach to a group of CEOs and senior marketing professionals from a cross section of industries.
We created an imaginary product, Chicken Fish, that we could use to demonstrate content marketing.
We took Chicken Fish, developed a story around it, and then a complete social communications strategy for a launch on various social platforms.
We hosted an event, entitled “Chicken meets Fish: A modern love story”, and presented an afternoon of content, copyright and conversation. We were supported by Walker Morris, experts in Intellectual Property matters, who delivered the copyright part of our presentation. Guests included representatives from FMCG, fashion, food and drink.
The afternoon session had a presentation of facts and figures about social media, the Chicken Fish strategy, and was followed by an interactive workshop. A social media takeaway was produced for guests in a special presentation case. A delicious mocktail was created for the event by our resident “mixologist” Miles.
The event was a huge success. The accompanying prezi presentation was cited as the most beautiful seen by executives of the Content Marketing Association. Existing clients who attended were delighted and two of the invited guests became, and remain, clients.
